April has been an incredibly exciting and rewarding month here at Centrestage Perform, and we’re thrilled to share some of our highlights with you!

A Fantastic Spring Holiday Camp Success!🎭Our Spring Holiday Camp was a huge success, filled with energy, creativity, and plenty of smiles. The children worked so hard throughout the week, building confidence, developing new skills, and forming wonderful friendships along the way. From drama games to rehearsals, every day was packed with fun and learning - and the final performances truly showcased their talent and dedication. We couldn’t be prouder of every single child who took part!

Our First Family Theatre Show – A Special Milestone 🌟This month also marked a very special moment for us—our first children’s performance delivered at The Wild's, Barking Riverside, for the community. We were honoured to provide free theatre for children in Barking and Dagenham, bringing the magic of live performance to families who may not otherwise have access.

Seeing the joy, laughter, and engagement from the children in the audience (as young as 7 months!) reminded us exactly why we do what we do. Theatre has the power to inspire, connect, and uplift—and it was incredible to share that experience with our local community.

We will be offering more free family theatre very soon, so do remember to watch out for announcements of signing up to our mailing list.

Free Trials Now Available – Join the Stage! 🎤We are excited to share that we are currently offering free trials for our weekly classes! These sessions give children the opportunity to train professionally in theatre and drama, build confidence, and develop performance skills in a fun and supportive environment.

Each term, our students work towards a final performance, giving them the full experience of being part of a production. This term, we are especially excited to be working towards our summer show—The Lion King! 🦁✨A classic loved by many!

More to Come… 👀This is just the beginning! We’re passionate about making theatre accessible to all, and we’re already planning more performances and opportunities in the coming months.
